Great graduate news - salaries up and grades not important!
The latest research from Adzuna is giving some excellent news for graduates. First (and probably foremost!) their study shows that graduate salaries are increasing. They say that graduates will earn £15,000 per year more than non-graduates or £500,000 over the course of their employment career.
Secondly, their research shows that the grade of degree is far less important that it used to be. They show that in the last two years, 80% fewer companies require graduates with a first class degree.
Their message? - Make sure you go to Uni, but have a great time because it doesn't matter what grade you get.
