Senior React Developer
Salary: £40K - £75K per annum
An established software house is on the lookout for a couple of skilled Senior React Developers to join their Glasgow base. Due to their success, they're looking to expand their team and as part of that are looking to enhance the current Front End React skills in the team.
The company already work with multi-national clients across many different industries, but their clientele is expanding all the time. Having been around for over 20 years now, they are globally known as the market leaders within their industry.
What will I be doing?
As mentioned, the company are looking to bring in first-class React skills to the team.
They've recently received significant financial investment and are growing the development team on the back of this. The company are also looking to re-develop and improve their award-winning platform and are working with the most up-to-date tech to ensure they stay ahead of competitors within the market!
As a Senior React Developer in the Agile team, you'll work closely with the Design team and Back End team to develop the Front End of the new platform. As a Senior within the team, you'll be expected to mentor other Developers within the team and also contribute to the whole development process, from ideation to delivery.
Who am I?
Don't worry, this isn't one of those organisations who wants a ninja, superstar, superhero … just someone that is fanatical about their craft. They also don't care if you are self-taught, have a degree, worked as a Scientist or a pro sportsperson in a previous life! They know good developers come from all sorts of different backgrounds.
As mentioned, the company are working with all the modern tech so you'll have the opportunity to work with Cloud Services too, so someone that's got experience with either AWS or Azure will really stand out!
In terms of personality and with the seniority of the role, you should be someone that isn't afraid to voice their opinion and enjoys putting their ideas across. The company pride themselves on solving their customer problems, so if you're a good problem solver then you'll fit right in!
Who will I be working with?
As mentioned, you'll work closely with the Back End team and Design team, as well as the Software Architect and the Development Manager.

What are the benefits and where will I be based?
This is probably worth knowing before applying. The salary range for the role is £40,000 - £75,000.
The company have an office in Glasgow but are looking to have a more dynamic and flexible set up when everything is back to normal. This means you'll have the opportunity to work fully remote (within the UK) and will only be expected to go into the office once every couple of months. If you do prefer to work in an office, then they're more than happy for you to do so!
At the moment however, everyone is working remotely so your first few months will be fully remote. Interviewing and on-boarding will be done remotely too.
