Senior .NET Developer - New Product/Team - Edinburgh City Centre
.NET Developer urgently required by our client based in the city centre of Edinburgh, on 6-month contract with a very high chance of extension.
With over a decade of experience in their industry, your new employer has grown from a little-known start-up in Scotland to a veritable powerhouse across the UK.
Their Edinburgh development centre is home to circa 20 Engineers (and the team is constantly growing!); working with some cutting-edge technologies and continuing to push forwards with new products and new tech. They're a Microsoft house and are currently in the process of implementing the cloud and the chosen platform is Microsoft Azure. As a result, they're looking for a lead .NET C# Developer with experience of Azure and Microservices - who will be expected to add a lot of value to the project, hit the ground running from day one and mentor junior developers when needed.
You'll be joining a team of engineers in Edinburgh to work on a new product, which will have a significant impact across the country in a critical industry.
The team are working with a range of technologies, as already discussed, so to be successful in this role you will likely have an interest in some, if not most of the following:
** C#/ MVC / ASP.NET
Even as a contractor you'll also be exposed to new tech, new approaches and add several strings to your development bow for future roles.
The Company & Culture:
There is a new leadership team in place and things are being shaken up (in a good way!) as a result - a lot of modern tech is being introduced and there's a big focus on doing things the "right way".
Having met most of the team, they are a great bunch and I can imagine it being a very inclusive, relaxed and highly skilled environment.
For the right person we have a day rate of £375 - £400 depending on your experience and what you can add to the project.
On top of that, this role is Outside of IR 35, offers the chance of a long-term extension and is located near a number of public transport routes.
