Salary: £50K - £60K per annum

A wee bit about the company…

The company in question have a hugely dynamic Infrastructure environment, trying their level best to adhere to the principles of test-driven development and service orientated architecture.

You will be working closely with the wider DevOps Team to set up automated deployment pipelines and working to reduce release cycle times across the new technology stack. You will have to think on your feet and hit the ground running, with a lot of scope it is your opportunity to shape the way that the Infrastructure is managed and have your input on key decisions made throughout the entire life-cycle of the product system. This is a pretty new function for the company so it's imperative that you can work autonomously too.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Infrastructure focused DevOps Engineer to make their mark in a Global organisation, adding value and consistency to the overall running of daily operations.

The ideal person will have experience of Cloud Formation, Azure DevOps, AWS, GitLab and AWS.

Most importantly, you will be passionate about continually adapting to new challenges and being at the forefront of Digital Change.

Key Responsibilities

** Liaising closely with the development and operations teams as well as the wider business

** Setting up automated deployment pipelines and reducing release cycle times

** Evaluate, plan, integrate, and manage Cloud Infrastructure

** Deploy and Manage large automated Cloud environments

Key Skills and Experience

** Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge / experience

** Knowledge and Experience with Cloud platforms - AWS or Terraform

** Knowledge of Relational Databases: SQL Server / MySQL / Postgres etc

** Knowledge of DevOps Tooling: Git / Gitlab / Gradle etc

** Knowledge of build, test & deployment processes for .Net, Java & JavaScript applications into AWS environments

The starting salary is around £50k - £60k plus benefits.
