Test Engineer - automation
Salary: £31K - £45K per annum

Joining the company's impressive team of testers, the role will require a strong communicator and advocate of the company.
Day-to-day duties will include being a part of the organisation's internal team with a focus on improving their current product selection. You will get involved in the release of products from end to end so you will gain experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle but as such the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience working across testing from inception to deployment, with a focus on defect analysis and reporting.
Although part of a team, the role requires someone who is not afraid to express their views on the best way to improve the testing process and function.
You will be proactively interested in learning about the latest technologies and will be in a place in your career in which you will relish taking on responsibility that will impact the result of the end product.
You'll be a strong automation engineer - with an ability to write automation test scripts from scratch - and work closely with the development team to deliver more complex automation tests.
You will relish fast-paced Agile environments, and you'll be a team player working with everyone from the Product Owner to Developers to determine testing requirements. You will be proactive with your ideas and opinions with the opportunity to help shape the changing needs of the company.
You will have experiences/skills in most of the following:
** Agile environment experience, and sprint planning
** Identifying functional and non-functional testing requirements
** Automation testing experience - API, end-to-end, exploratory, performance
** Peer reviews - testing and development
** Cloud-based testing, web-based, mobile and desktop-based testing
Salary and Location
The company are based in the city centre of Edinburgh, and are keen to reward their employees, offering a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience. On top of this there is a strong benefits package which includes a discounted gym membership, private medical and pension.
