Service Delivery Manager - Fast Growing Organisation

An excellent opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager has arisen within a services organisation based just off the A1 near Richmond. Over the last few years the organisation has gone strength to strength acquiring new clients and are set to have a national footprint in the next few years

You will play a key role in overseeing the whole service desk function including the service desk manager and team lead whilst maintaining client relationships and customer satisfaction. You will be extremely delivery focused throughout the service delivery lifecycle and have a proven track record in delivering high profile IT projects for blue chip organisations.

Importantly you will have to have a good understanding of how a busy service desk works and will play a key part in deciding where they company need to go in terms of KPI's. You will perform one to ones and be responsible for developing/ monitoring employees' careers/ performance.

Your role will be mostly hands off and you will play a big part in the strategy of the Service Desk, onboarding new clients and ensuring customer satisfaction by performing site visits etc. This poistion would suit someone with proven Service Delivery skills or a Service Desk Manager who is looking for the next logical step.

Key Skills:

** Deliver a variety of IT Infrastructure services and projects

** Determine IT Service Roadmap - translating this into practical solutions

** Lead the planning process - prioritizing, scheduling, measuring existing capabilities, etc.

** Management of a multidisciplinary team

** Making sure the overall teams KPI's are hit

** Experience running a service desk.

** Mentoring/ developing helpdesk team

** Dealing with Key clients, new & existing

** Working proactively to see what changes can be made for a smoother process
