Senior Test Analyst - Front-end
Salary: £35K - £42K per annum

You'll be coming on board to work within a small and specialised testing team. Looking after the front-end focused testing of the company's website(s) and e-commerce platform, the role will include helping to develop the independent testing function within this team. It's a great opportunity to take autonomy for the testing processes and some of the testing strategy that will actively affect the outcome of some of the major changes coming within the company.
The role is based within a fast-paced environment, where you will be expected to take on multiple projects at the same time - meaning you'll never be bored! The team works in an Agile way and allow for the flexibility to adjust working processes to whatever way works best for the team. You'll be a massive part of working with the team to help define this.
As with any testing role, you must be able to create effective test plans, and ideally have an idea of how to create a rough testing strategy to follow. Although a small team, looking after more junior testers and you would be keen to continue this.
Being an all-round generalist tester is key to this role as some strong experience under your belt.
You'll be a confident Manual Tester with previous experience in a commercial testing environment. If you have some additional experience of automation testing, this will be a massive advantage, but is not completely essential to the role.
You'll enjoy being a methodical and proactive functional tester with an ability to place yourself in the role of the customer, and really understand the mindset of someone entering a website for the first time, or a returning customer is a great skill to bring to the role.
Personality-wise you'll be a self-sufficient worker and a confident communicator - you won't shy away from working with developers as this is a key part of the role, and you'll be happy to suggest better ways to improve the testing process.
