Senior Tester - established team, manual and automation
Salary: £32K - £38K per annum
I am looking for a Test Analyst/Senior Test Analyst to join our financial services client in the city centre of Edinburgh. The company have a great reputation, and this is an ideal time to join, with no shortage of projects to get involved in from the very early stages.
My client is well renowned for looking after their staff, you will be given opportunities for development, a competitive salary and market leading benefits & flexibility. Although the company is over one hundred years old, and of a decent size, they still retain the feel of a smaller, more reactive organisation. Working for them offers a good balance of a secure job without having to work for one of the large financial brands.
You will be joining an established test team and support the inhouse development of industry leading products and services. The company are hugely collaborative, very forward thinking - applying modern practices and techniques and you will get exposure to leading test tools in a very agile environment.
Financial services and investment experience would be ideal, but not essential. The successful candidate will have both manual and automation test experience and should be able to demonstrate very strong communication skills as you will be dealing with stakeholders at all levels - including relaying report and progress to management. You will be someone who has demonstrable experience leading/looking after more junior testers and you would be keen to continue this.
The ability to create detailed test cases and scenarios is essential, as is being able automate tests and run automation tests.
Candidates wishing to apply should have experience in most of the following:
** Experience mentoring/leading a team
** UAT and System Testing, End-to-end Testing
** Agile experience
** Automation testing tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium, Protractor
** Strong SQL testing skills
The company works with cutting edge technology and is recognised as being at the top of its game in the financial services, with a project portfolio in the hundreds of millions. They have a forward-thinking company culture, with flexible working and an autonomous working environment.
The company offer some great benefits including an annual discretionary bonus, and the company will match your pension contribution.
