Disaster Recovery / Service Continuity SME - City Centre

DR /SC Specialist required to join our client, based in Edinburgh City Centre for an initial 3 months with rates yet to be confirmed. This is a hugely exciting contract, offering the chance to work on a very high-profile project from day one with some of the best and brightest in the financial services industry.

Within this role, you will hold a vital governance role by verifying that all critical services are resilient and that in the event of any service or component failure all critical services continue to operate or be brought back online and recovered within agreed timescales and parameters.

Candidates wishing to apply should have experience of most of the following:

** Demonstrable experience operating DR governance to strict regulatory requirements

** Experience co-ordinating multiple stakeholders to ensure successful test cycles

** Disaster Recovery Policy Creation

** Strong experience matrix managing and co-ordinating multiple resource types to deliver a positive business outcome

** Experience working other ITS functions to deliver on availability targets

** Experience achieving KPI's and remediating difficult environments

** Previous experience in setting and maintaining QA measures and definitions

** Process Analysis: Demonstrates an understanding of how lean process relates to lower cost of operations

** Experience within large Enterprise environments: 1000+ users

Candidates with experience of either of the Service Now ITSM toolset, knowledge of other service management fields would be at an advantage. Experience working with business change functions and with automation tooling in the DR/SC space would also be a plus.
