Technical Specialist - 2nd Line Support
Salary: £25K - £30K per annum
Cathcart Associates are currently looking for an all-round Technical Specialist to join our Glasgow based client on a 6 Month Fixed Term basis.
As a business, there is a strong focus on providing a first-class IT Support experience to all internal users and going the "extra mile" in your you support of 1st/2nd line issues.
Within this role, you will provide an excellent level of service to all users whilst managing your time effectively and ensuring that company best practice and policy is strictly adhered to. This is a very fast paced role and you will be expected to work on multiple tickets at the same time.
You will be a seasoned IT Support professional with in-depth experience across a range of technologies; experience of business or finance applications such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce or Sage is also vital.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
** MDM Systems knowledge required - Knowledge of Android vital
** Knowledge of Active Directory
** ERP / Finance Systems Support - End user support experience beneficial
** Knowledge of Excel is vital - Ability to use Forms, Lists and general support of Excel
** High level of Customer Service required
** Windows Server Technologies
** Microsoft Exchange Server / Office 365 Management
** Basic TCP/IP networking including VPN, WLAN and VLAN
** Experience of Building / Deploying Windows Systems
** Experience with TeamViewer or any remote access support tool
** Microsoft Office Certification
** MCSE certification advantageous
