Software Developers - Leeds - New Products

.NET Developers required at multiple levels for one of the fastest growing companies in Yorkshire and indeed the UK. They are based just outside Leeds city centre and are easily commutable from the surrounding area with free parking. They are currently launching multiple new products alongside their existing solution using some innovative tech.

The role:

They are currently developing several greenfield projects to add to and run alongside their existing products and you will play a key part in this. Alongside the Software Dev Manager, you will be working on complex Microsoft based solutions, using the full breadth of your .NET skills.

Once in the role, you'll be helping to develop these new projects either leading or working in a close-knit team. They work in an Agile environment where you would be involved in the whole software development cycle and take a product through to completion. They work in a collaborative environment to help develop your skills and make sure coding standards stay high throughout the process.

They are very keen for the team to come up with new ideas and solutions. As a result, if you feel there is a better way of approaching something or even a new technology that they could benefit from - they want you to tell them. There is no hierarchy in place when it comes to improving the products.

Tech Stack:

They are using innovative technologies to deliver complex, enterprise scale projects, mainly focused on the Microsoft tech stack. As a result, you should be comfortable with most of the following:

** C# / .NET / ASP.NET

** JavaScript - ideally one of the more modern frameworks/libraries, such as: Angular / React / Node - however, if you are confident when it comes to Vanilla JavaScript / jQuery they appreciate there isn't too steep a learning curve

** Cloud experience - ideally Azure with everything being hosted on Microsoft's platform, however, any AWS or Google Cloud experience would be fine as well

**HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery

**Any exposure to networking or security technologies, including any DevOps knowledge would be a bonus but certainly not essential

The Company:

A successful tech organisation, who for the last 20 years have been at the forefront of their industry. Due to a recent change in focus / management, they are expanding in almost every department, with new and innovative solutions being developed by their high calibre team(s).

They work in an agile environment and offer a great package including a competitive salaries, flexible hours and healthcare scheme to name a few.
