Software Architect - Azure
Salary: £50K - £70K per annum
Software Architect - Azure/Cloud
Software Architect with demonstrable experience of working across the full software lifecycle required by an ambitious tech company in Leeds.
They are expanding across the board at the moment and need someone with a background in implementing enterprise scale Azure/Cloud solutions as they roll out multiple new products to market.
You will provide the team with guidance across the software landscape and be obsessed with the technical integrity of the solution and its architecture.
Working closely alongside the Technical Director you will have the opportunity to really put your stamp on the current (and indeed future solutions) across the business. A key part of that will be identifying and then championing best practice across the various teams.
In this role you will be given the chance to have your say on technology and how they drive each product forward. Which means if you feel there is a better way of doing things or want to change how they approach the work, they are all ears.
You'll be hands on, forward thinking Software Architect with a never-ending desire to improve the way technology works.
To be successful in this role you will have a track record delivering similar, large scale cloud based solutions - ideally with Azure.
You should be comfortable with most of the following if you are considering applying:
** Software Architecture experience on an enterprise scale
** Azure experience, however, if you have a background in AWS or Google Cloud they are keen to speak with you as the skills are very much transferable
** Proponent of Agile methodologies for software delivery
** Team leadership / mentoring skills - with a desire to progress others around you
A successful tech organisation, who for the last 20 years have been at the forefront of their industry. Due to a recent change in focus / management, they are expanding in almost every department, with new and innovative solutions being developed by their high calibre team(s).
As well as delivering first class products, they are keen to be involved in the wider tech community in Leeds, meaning you will have the opportunity to deliver talks/training if you so wish.
Salary on this role is very much dependant on experience - which I appreciate isn't too helpful. As a ball park, we are looking around £55-70k for the right person and can be flexible.
On top of that there is a good benefits package, free parking and plenty of scope to have an impact on the wider business.
Don't hesitate to apply as this is a really unique opportunity to join a company who are only going to get bigger and better. Contact Liam at Cathcart Associates for more information or a detailed chat about the company/role.
